I originally came across the picture of the lady on the horse months ago while looking for references for another picture. I thought the picture was superb, and faved it, knowing that I wanted to do something with it.
Last week I started playing around with the background, taking out the bridge, and realized that the woman on the horse would look wonderful on it.
I changed the face, to give her a more pensive/thoughtful look. I like to think that when she was young, she lived in the now ruins on the hill, and she took a ride and ended up there. Now she's thinking about her childhood, good and bad, and contemplating her future.
