As the title says, this is a bit of a rant, so feel free to ignore it.

I, like most people, have DA set to show the most popular entries in the last 8 hours. What I want to know, is, why do so many pictures of naked women end up on the front page?
There are a few of them that I see and I can understand. The photographer really put some thought into what the model is and isn't wearing, and the background, and her pose, but honestly, it doesn't take that much skill to ask a woman to strip down to nothing and roll around on a white background and take pictures.
Are the people on this site that sex starved that they honestly "appreciate" these pictures?
Are the people in this world so deprived of the art, the truly good art that permeated our society for years and years that they lack the eye to see that what these "artists" do is just to garner attention to themselves?
Although I suppose that it's not surprising. When tagging was declared to be an art form, what else was next for us?
